Did you almost forget your classmates in your home country or lose contact with them? Today there is no reason to. There are social network websites, like Facebook, and you can open your account through your mobile device.

Often, when you meet other people, they ask: “Are you on Facebook?” Websites like Friendster, Twitter, MySpace and Facebook are very famous. Most Dutch people have their account on Hyves, and some professional workers use LinkedIn to develop their network. Even many famous people use one of these websites to reach their fans. Currently, in the Netherlands a strippenkaart is one of the tickets used in public transport like bus, tram, metro, or certain trains. The fare to be paid is calculated according to a zone system, two strips for one zone, three strips for two, and so on. And now, welcome the new means of payment for Dutch public transport: OV-chipkaart.
